You have no input in decisions about injection sites,
Their activists behave as though it’s been decided and it’s right,
You had no input; you have no input; you may as well be dead,
Or from a place where the notwithstanding clause was never read.
You may have lost all control in community affairs,
But you seldom vote and the general attitude is – who cares?
The drug addicts already have rights to their free needles,
With their activists and politicians soaring like eagles.
A played-down small symptom of a deadly social disease,
Where certain politicians bend over backwards to appease,
Supreme Court decisions cannot be questioned or changed,
The addresses of the injection sites will soon be arranged.
