Who runs this land -- the government or the Supreme Court crowd?
How many unborn babies, killed by abortion, have been allowed?
How do we go about invoking the notwithstanding clause?
Who is responsible -- judges, activists, abortionists, in their cause?
And we’re going to have three injection sites shoved down our throat,
Maybe whorehouses and casinos too, plus we seldom vote,
But we’re not allowed death with dignity or binding referendums,
And the way things are going, we may end up in an asylum.
Is there a politician who might help us in these predicaments?
Are we just dumb, don’t care, easily led or just innocents?
Are the media moguls just looking on or do the control events?
Will this poem be completely banned because of its contents?
Why are the great people of Toronto so helpless in this affair?
The notwithstanding clause was written for us but we don’t care,
Being dragged by drug-addict activists down their injection-site trail,
Are we dumb, blind, can’t see what’s coming or maybe need some Braille?
