As Toronto gets three injection sites stuffed down our throats,
By an almighty Supreme Court that is isolated and remote,
And we don’t know where to turn, what to do or what to say,
We have been trained to be silent when it happens this way.
But this was why the notwithstanding clause was written,
Though some politicians behaved as though they were smitten,
So we have a way to avoid the drug-addict activists,
Because none of their many injection sites are accidents.
If we knew how to use the notwithstanding clause, it would be great,
But our gutless politicians don’t like this type of debate,
And free needles is one thing but now they also want free drugs,
Because they’re just addicted citizens -- not criminals or thugs.
