Oklahoma has the death penalty that we are not allowed,We have no binding referendums and there’s no doubt, we are cowed,Something definitely needs to change but we don’t know how,For some unknown reason, politicians don’t want to cause a row.
If we had binding referendums, we might, but no one seems to care,We don’t even have assisted suicide so no one would dare,We don’t have mandatory voting so less than half of us vote,The majority behave as though we are on Ottawa remote.
Our Supreme Court seems to make some very odd decisions,That can’t be questioned and never come up for revisions,Their own ideas which we dislike but they stick down our throats,No binding referendums or death with dignity so take notes. Apr 25th, 2012
