Canadian Death with Dignity

Why do we have to look to the US for a Death with Dignity Act?
Surely Canadians could write their own and that’s a fact,
But the politically correct types are not pleased about this,
Ottawa elites did not okay it so we are remiss.

They want Canadians to die in unnecessary pain,
And no one, absolutely no one can stand up and complain,
And our noisy politicians are silent on this matter,
As they constantly display and show in their foolish natter.


Not since the divisive Sue Rodriguez case a decade ago,
Appointed Supreme Court gave this issue a mortal blow,
“Who’s life is it anyway?” she asked as she approached death,
A few weeks later she was gone as she took her last breath.
