They call it a correctional institute rather than a jail,
A graphic illustration of how they won and we failed,
Then the parole board decided which criminals they would release,
Murderers, cop killers, rapists and to hell with the police.

Of course you never heard or read much about the parole board,
That's how they hid their twisted ethics and that's how they have scored,
Could be the largest Ottawa bureaucracy ever devised,
Setting murderers and rapists free and no one seems surprised.

And then it gets worse because we don't have a clue what to do,
Our so called political leadership seems bogged down in goo,
Wouldn't dare touch binding referendums with a ten foot pole,
They and the appointed senators are always on a role.
