The national parole board is one giant powerful bureaucracy,
Dealing with releasing criminals and a lot of hypocrisy,
But they're a pompous lot and can't see the problems that they cause,
As far as they are concerned the parole board has no flaws.
In Criminal Records Act, it's clemency, pardons and bail,
Governor general and politicians involved so they can't fail,
And binding referendums are banned because that could change a lot,
And it doesn't matter if the victim's relatives are all distraught.
Never discussed in parliament so it's not up for debate,
And they produce statistics that shows that they're doing great,
They don't seem to mention the crimes committed by those released,
Cops killed, people murdered and they're all dead and deceased.
