No one responsible in control

When they let prisoners out of jail for their own special reason,
Could this action be considered worse than the crime of treason?
Why is there no one willing to take responsibility this time?
Especially when and if the criminals return to their crimes.

And if someone is murdered, who will be charged or take the fall?
The released convict, the parole board guy or whoever is on call?
Where are the politicians that we elected to be in charge?
At the next election, will they get a dishonorable discharge?

But they don't seem bothered about letting convicts out of jail,
They have a bureaucratic conviction that they cannot fail,
Like those TV evangelists, they have an abiding faith,
But on this prisoner-release issue, they avoid all public debate.
