The Paedophile Priest

The bishops did nothing much about the paedophile-priest complaints,
And when the shit hit the fan they waited more and prayed to the saints,
To cover their vast conspiracies and hide more offences,
May now have put the church in bankruptcy because of expenses.

Because the church never expected that they could get sued,
For millions and billions of dollars and they think this is crude,
So the church wants the parishioners to cough up more dough,
Many of the good holy people are poor so inclined to say no.

They are turning away from the church in numbers never heard,
Not just here and there in churches, but all over the Third World,
While the lists of pedophile priests and bishops gets longer every day,
It looks like half the priesthood, they say, might be pedophile and gay.
