Forced to concur

Maybe soft-on-crime bureaucrats with ulterior motives in mind,
Add that to a parole board hearing and what do we find?
Cop killers, murderers, and vicious criminals going free,
No one knows why the good parole board folk tend to agree.

We need someone to help us keep these killers in jail for life,
Not allowing prisoners free who may add to our daily strife,
But bureaucrats and elites want to maintain the status quo,
They have secure jobs in Ottawa and they're making lots of dough.

Someone somewhere in Canada must have the answer to this strife,
So that we can continue with a normal peaceful life,
And not have to wonder when and if the next murder might occur,
In this not-so-nice situation where we are forced to concur.
