What are we going to do?

Why can't we change Trudeau's Charter or is that a mortal sin?
It was written for "EVERYONE" in the world and all their strange kin,
And if or when we might change it, we should add a little more,
Like binding referendums because Canadians know the score.

Cops have a hard time trying to catch these repeating crooks,
Then the soft courts or parole boards give them bail and that's how it looks,
And then these released crooks go out that night and kill a few more,
Why can't we fix the system because we all know the score?

Usually written up in the Sun and then it's all forgotten,
Also mentioned is the fact that the system is more than rotten.
But that's not all because we don't know where or how or what to do,
These crooks have Charter Rights so therefore no one can subdue,
