Politicians are Busy at the Moment

The parole board in Ottawa has taken us down the wrong road,
Canadians don't understand because bureaucrats talk in code,
Sanctimonious politically correct and don't dare ask,
They are very high and mighty and you're not up to the task.

They release criminals from various jails coast to coast to coast,
Could be dangerous to the public so they never never boast,
They let them out on bail too where they can continue their crimes,
Or give them clean-record pardons and forgiveness other times.

This form of madness cannot be questioned by you or by me,
How these released criminals will behave, we have to wait and see,
Our politicians are busy with their heads buried in the sand,
So busy at the moment that this is not what should have been planned.
