Something is seriously wrong

The media doesn't pay much attention to the parole board,
It's as if there's nothing important there so it will be ignored,
The isolated independent parole board likes it that way,
Few of their lenient decisions are ever questioned anyway.

That Parole Board is isolated from public and the victims of crime,
Giving pardons and parole and prison transfers all the time,
And these independent decisions cannot be questioned; no way,
Where prisoners have lots of Charter Rights and want out to play.

Parole board untouchable elite aristocrats like it now,
Though the cops that made the arrests and the victims may disavow,
There is no doubt that something is very seriously wrong,
And the present bureaucratic arrangements have gone on too long.
